Mahasin Siddig Hassan Eltom

Mahasin has over twenty years experience in practicing law. She graduated in the University of Khartoum with LL.B (Hons.) in 1989. She further obtained an LL.M from the same university in 2004. After qualifying as an advocate in 1990, Mahasin practiced in one of the leading law firms in Sudan. She then moved to Dubai and practiced there for a considerable period of time. She joined the firm in February 2001 after working extensively in advocacy and consultancy in and outside Sudan. She built a body of thorough experience especially in commercial laws. Mahasin leads the dispute resolution practice of the firm. She is well known as a prominent litigator. She is interested in general commercial practice, corporate, banking, finance and arbitration. Ali Abdelrahman Khalil

Ali holds LL.B (Hons.), LL.M (Khartoum) and LLM from King’s College, University of London. He joined the firm as a trainee advocate in 2000 and qualified as an advocate in 2001. He worked for the firm as an associate until he became a partner in December 2004. Ali acquired a thorough and vast experience in practicing law especially in corporate, finance and general commercial law. He advised in a number of huge finance and corporate transactions. He leads the corporate and finance practice of the firm. Ali has been recently seconded to a Magic Circle law firm in London where he stayed for three months in their corporate and finance departments. Ali has been appointed recently as a Visiting Scholar at University of Durham Law School in the UK and at the Max Planck Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg. Khalid Elsadig Shami

Khalid graduated in the National University of Amman in Jordan with an LL.B. He also holds postgraduate diplomas from Elnilein University in Khartoum in private and in public law as well as a postgraduate diploma in law from University of Khartoum. He is now working towards completing his LLM. Khalid joined the Firm in 2008. He has been since then practicing extensively in various areas of law. He is mostly interested in general commercial practice, criminal law, intellectual property and employment law. He is a registered trademarks agent. Shadia Badawi Mahgoub

Mrs. Shadia Badawi graduated in the University of Khartoum with an LL.B (Hons.) in 1989. She joined the firm in 1990 as a trainee advocate and was admitted to the Bar in 1991. She then moved to another firm and practiced extensively before returning to the firm in 1998 as a senior associate. Shadia shifted her career to in-house practice in 2002 when she joined Transarabian Air Transport Co. She has been working for that company as the General Counsel up to 2013 when she rejoined SKS as a counsel. Mrs. Badawi has an extensive and thorough experience in practicing law in corporate, general commercial practice, aviation, insurance, administrative and labour law at both advisory and litigation levels. Ahmed Ibrahim Mohammed

Ahmed graduated with an LL.B from the University of Khartoum in 1996. He was trained in a reputable law firm in Khartoum and qualified as an advocate in 1998. Since then, he has been practicing law extensively in Khartoum and in many other different areas in Sudan. Ahmed has a vast, thorough and diversified experience in wide areas of Sudanese law as both litigation and consultation attorney. His expertise in Sudanese law is widely recognized. Mr. Ibrahim is an independent practitioner with an accredited practice. His cooperation with the firm started years ago. The firm retains his services frequently on a case by case basis. Marwa Taha Saeed

Marwa graduated with an LL.B (Hons.) in the University of Khartoum in 2008. She completed part 1of the LL.M in the same university. She joined the firm in 2009 and was admitted to the Bar in 2010. Marwa is thriving in a strong and enriching legal environment. She is rapidly expanding her experience in practicing law as both advisory and litigation lawyer. She is mainly specialized in corporate and commercial law. She has been recently seconded to a Brazilian law firm in Bahia, Brazil, where she spent a placement training period. Nermeen Maher Sa’ad

Nermeen graduated with a Licence en Droits in Cairo University, Khartoum Branch, in Egypt. She further obtained a higher diploma in human rights from University of Khartoum. She joined the firm in February 2013 as a trainee advocate and qualified as an advocate in March 2014. Habab Amin

Habab graduated with an LL.B (Hons.) in 2005 in Alneelain University, Khartoum. She further obtained a postgraduate diploma in legal translation. She was admitted to the Bar in 2008.
